Julie Edwards

Julie Edwards co-anchors Carolina Morning and 7 News at Noon.

She grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and went to Vanderbilt University for college.

She started her journalism career at WSPA-sister station WKRN in Nashville.

She ventured to Los Angeles for graduate school at the University of Southern California, where she received an M.B.A.

Julie acknowledges this isn’t the only USC!

Her youngest sister went to the University of South Carolina and is a huge Gamecocks fan.

After graduate school, Julie worked in business development and digital operations for E! Entertainment Television.

Julie returned to WKRN in 2013 and had the priviledge of covering nearly every presidential candidate as they made their way through Nashville in 2015 and 2016.
She enjoys running, hiking, and playing with her hound-mix, Harry. Julie and her husband are excited to be living in the Upstate!
