Empowerment Coach Gia Lacqua to be Featured on Close Up Radio

GLEN ROCK, NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES, January 24, 2023 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Stressed. Overwhelmed. Exhausted. Anxious. Sleep-deprived. Frustrated. Struggling. These are the adjectives working mothers use to describe themselves. Yet, when asked how they are feeling, they reply, “I’m fine” and deliver it convincingly with a [fake] smile.

Working women today are burned out from doing too much and feeling like it’s never enough. We are leading high powered careers, caring for children, and aging parents, managing a household, organizing activities and events, planning meals, coordinating schedules…all while carrying an enormous mental load, and taking on the emotional labor of the family.

We live in a power-driven, hustle culture telling us to do more, do it better, work harder, and feel less. Women are told we can do it and have it all. Naturally, we become hyper-focused on meeting all the external demands that we lose our voice and our sense of self. Over time, we learn to neglect our own needs. Eventually these maladaptive behaviors catch up with us, and our well-being starts to deteriorate. We experience physical manifestations of stress such as migraines, insomnia, gastrointestinal issues, and heart palpitations. We also find that we feel less fulfilled, we experience less joy, we are less present in our relationships, and we even become disconnected from ourselves.

Gia Lacqua is a widely regarded trauma-informed empowerment coach and motivational speaker. She is also the author of the Limitless Little Leaders children's book series, a board member with the Girl Scouts of Northern NJ, and a girl-mom. Yes, this may read like a do it all, have it all woman, however after her own personal wrestle with the concept, Gia has learned to create a life she loves, and she wants to help you do the same. As an empowerment coach she supports high-achieving women who are overwhelmed and unfulfilled find her inner harmony and reclaim her life so she can show up as the extraordinary woman she knows she is capable of being.

“My singular focus is to create a new paradigm for working women because the current model is not sustainable. Most working mothers today are over-functioning. We are in a perpetual state of survival mode, and it’s taking a tremendous toll on our mental health and physical wellbeing.”

Gia offers keynotes, workshops, and one-on-one leadership and personal empowerment coaching. She supports clients in breaking out of surviving mode and stepping into thriving mode. Her programs are based on a three-phased approach to self-discovery and healing. They are designed to provide women with a long overdue paradigm shift to help them break the self-sabotaging behaviors and habits that are keeping them stuck in chaos cycle.

Gia’s clients are primarily high achieving women who are “successful” on the outside, but silently suffering from extreme burnout on the inside. She says practicing self-care is only one part of the equation. Practices like yoga or meditating can be therapeutic, but it’s not enough - “it’s like putting a band aid on a broken bone.”

The work she does with her clients is much deeper - she helps to identify the root causes of their pain and she takes a holistic approach to address them head on. That is the core of her work. She is dedicated to empowering women to prioritize their well-being, and to create the balance they so desperately need and crave.

“As strong women we tell ourselves we should be able to work through the struggle on our own. In fact, we have literally been conditioned to believe that asking for help is a sign of weakness. Plus, everyone else is doing it, so I should be able to as well.”

The problem is, when we are focused on everyone else, we are not able to thrive. Often, by trying to be everything to everyone, we lose our unique gifts, talents and even our sense of self. We also learn to neglect our own needs. For high achieving women, their time and energy are devoted to tending to everyone else’s needs. I empower women to focus on their needs, goals, and aspirations”

My mission is to support women in making the necessary lifestyle changes to optimize their physical, mental, and emotional health. I help my clients get clear on their priorities, identify strategies to reduce the stress and overwhelm, and enhance the mind-body connection. I support clients in finding their inner harmony and rediscovering their sense of self to step into their next level of success, and happiness with confidence, purpose, and intention.”

Gia will provide an overview of her powerful step- by -step program in her upcoming interview with Jim Masters.

As a leadership coach and empowerment coach, she expertly works with women in leadership who have come a long way in their careers.

“Being conditioned to believe ‘you can have it all,’ may sound great, but it is highly inaccurate, and living this way is slowly and silently killing us. The time for us to create change for a better tomorrow is now.”

Gia decided to pursue a career as an empowerment coach and motivational speaker after spending 20 years in corporate America and suffering from burnout it 2018. Her decision to change careers has helped her continue to focus on the conscious creation of her own life and follow her dreams. Today, she is helping hundreds of clients through evidence-based strategies and her own unique formula for success designed to provide women with that long overdue, sustained relief.

“The world urgently needs women to unleash their extraordinary and lead – authentically and unapologetically. Working women are facing a critical inflection point, and the time to effectuate change for a better future is now. It’s time that we stop chasing success and start creating it.”
