Three cities decked out in lights and activities for the holiday season in Rutherfordton, NC. 
Main Street in Rutherfordton has what the Town Manager Doug Barrick and Mayor Jimmy call the largest cedar tree in North Carolina for families to look at and take pictures near. 
A new Copper Penny restaurant along with many other restaurants and shops are open downtown for holiday visitors as well. 
Just down the highway in Spindale you can check out the Spindale House with lots of lights lining the road. 
Catch a performance of the Nutcracker at 11 AM on Saturday December 8 on the campus of Isothermal Community College at the Performing Arts Center.
In Forest City, Mayor Steve and city leaders are excited to show you their new Florence Mill Park and amphitheater and an award winning main street lit up for you to enjoy.
