STARR, S.C. (WSPA) — Anderson County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a shooting that sent a victim to the hospital Monday morning.

Deputies found a victim shot at least once in Starr.

Sheriff’s Office officials said the shooting incident on Brooks McGee Road stemmed from a domestic dispute and both parties involved were reportedly armed.

The shooter fired at least once, hitting the victim.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Sheriff’s Office officials said no charges have been filed at this time.
