THE RESERVATION (WSPA) – Cherokee Co. Schools say the artificial turf will not be ready at the Reservation for the first Gaffney High School football game against T.L. Hanna.

They say it may not also be installed for the home game against West Charlotte on September 9.

They are moving the game to Brumbach Stadium at Gaffney Middle School.

They say they will be informing season ticket holders of specifics regarding seating and parking when tickets are sold during the week of August 1.

They will also inform General Admission ticket holders where they will sit on the evening of August 19, 2016.

“While we are sure that fans are disappointed with the delay of turf installation, we are fortunate to be able to host this game at our former home stadium in Gaffney. It is possible that the turf may be completely installed prior to the West Charlotte game, but we will make on official announcement before that playing date. Please come out and support the Indians on August 19, 2016 against T.L. Hanna as we use this opportunity to rally behind our coaches and players and honor this nostalgic stadium. Go Indians!” the district says in the press release.
