2 accused of church burglaries in Pickens Co.

PICKENS Co., SC (WSPA) – A man and woman have been accused of burglarizing two churches in the Dacusville Community, according to the Pickens Co. Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office says they are wrapping up a three-week investigation into the burglary of two churches.

The churches are Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on Hester Store Rd. and Turn Point Worship Center on Mt. Tabor Church Rd.

They say detectives tracked several thousand dollars’ worth of property into Greenville Co.

The sheriff’s office was able to recover most of the stolen property which included musical equipment and computers.

Jordan Allen Mason, 20, was arrested Friday and taken to the Pickens Co. Detention Center. Moore has been charged with two counts of second degree burglary, grand larceny and petit larceny. 

Madison Renee Lance, 17, is in the Greenville Co. Detention Center on charges from other jurisdiction with a hold from Pickens Co. for charges to be served pending her release. Those charges are two counts of second degree burglary, grand larceny and petit larceny.
