2 accused of selling meth, cocaine; drugs, guns seized in Anderson Co.


STARR, S.C. (WSPA) – Two people have been arrested after deputies found drugs and weapons inside a home on Evergreen Church Road, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.

27-year-old Antwan Jerrond Walls and 22-year-old Stephanie Nicole Sharpes were both charged with trafficking in cocaine and methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance.

Walls was also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Deputies responded to the home on Evergreen Church Road at about 10:45 a.m. Friday in reference to possible illegal activity.

When deputies got there, they talked to Walls in the front yard and noticed a white residue on his face.

After learning there was a woman inside the home, deputies were given permission to speak with her.

When they were inside the home, they found the woman and a plastic baggie of cocaine on a nearby table.

After finding the cocaine, deputies were given permission to search the rest of the home.

Several items were seized from the home, including 11 grams of cocaine, 10 grams of methamphetamine, 16 pills of Alprazolam (a schedule IV narcotic), 24 grams of marijuana, a Glock .45 caliber handgun with ammunition and clips, a Glenfield Model .22 caliber rifle and $960.

Walls and Sharpes were taken into custody and are being held at the Anderson County Detention Center, awaiting bond hearings.
