GREENWOOD COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – The three people who were found shot dead at a home in Greenwood Friday morning have been identified.
Greenwood County Sheriff Dennis Kelly said deputies arrived at a home on Perch Street after receiving a call about the incident around 10 a.m. and found the three victims — a man, a woman and a child –with gunshot wounds to the head.
The Greenwood County Coroner’s Office identified the two adult victims as Natasha Dawn McDonald, 44, and Michael Dante Frazier, 30.
Our crew at the scene spoke with the victim’s family members, including Adaia Brown, the mother of the 8-year-old deceased child.
Brown identified her child as 8-year-old Heaven Frazier. She told us that her daughter had been living at the Perch Street home with her father and his girlfriend.
According to Coroner Sonny Cox, all three victims were pronounced dead at the scene, and an autopsy has been scheduled for the three victims.
Tia McDuffie, Heaven’s aunt, was also at the scene and described the phone call she received about the incident.
“I got a call this morning saying everybody in the house was dead,” McDuffie said. “Nobody survived.”
McDuffie also described the scene inside the home.
“Her step mother and her [Heaven] were laying in the bed,” McDuffie said. “The baby’s feet were dangling off the bed. There was blood pouring from the front part of their bodies.”
McDuffie said she had been out of school for the last couple of days and said her family is now wondering if it’s related to this incident.
“My niece wasn’t going to school and, I mean, they really tried to look into it, and they tried for two or three days,” McDuffie said.
Kelly said they are not currently searching for suspects in this case.
