SPARTANBURG Co., SC (WSPA) – Two people have been arrested in two armed robberies and a burglary in Spartanburg Co., according to the sheriff’s office.
Dillon James Tabor, 23, of Parks Lane, Campobello is charged with Armed Robbery- 2 counts, Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime – 2 counts, Burglary – 2nd Degree, and Petit Larceny.
The second suspect is Dakota Jackson Wooten, 18, of Old Bethel Rd., Moore, SC is charged with Armed Robbery – 2 counts, Burglary – 2nd Degree, and Petit Larceny.
Tabor was found Thursday, arrested and confessed to all 3 incidents and also implicated an accomplice, according to the report.
The first armed robbery happened at the Circle K on E. Blackstock Rd. Moore on Oct. 10 around 1:55 p.m.
The second armed robbery happened at the Scotchman on Reidville Rd. in Spartanburg.
There was also a burglary at Valvoline on Reidville Rd. on Oct. 13 around 11:25 a.m.
Investigators say they ran some surveillance photos on Facebook and they get a tip identifying a possible suspect.
They put the Tabor in a photo line-up and was positively identified by the clerks, according to the report.
Tabor told investigators he is basically homeless and committed the crimes to get money.
Deputies say Valvoline was targeted because Wooten used to work there.
