SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Two people have been arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting in Spartanburg County.

The incident happened on Williams St. near Saxon Avenue July 29, according to Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to the area for a possible shots fired call.

Deputies spoke with 4 people who were in the area when the shooting began. One of their vehicles was shot, according to an incident report.

19-year-old Xeviyon Rector and 18-year-old Eric Weathersby have been arrested in connection to the incident, according to the sheriff’s office. The condition of the victim is not known at this time.

Each of the suspects are facing seven counts of attempted murder.
