2 arrested in home invasion, stabbing in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE Co., SC (WSPA) – Two people have been arrested in connection to a home invasion according to Greenville Co. Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators say it happened early morning on March 12 in the 100 block of Hampton Avenue.

A person inside the apartment says a man and woman forced their way in and demanded money.

The victim was stabbed.

The suspects then ran with an unknown amount of money.

The following people have been charged.

Sandy Mitchell, 26 – Attempted Murder, Burglary 1st degree, and Armed Robbery while armed with a deadly weapon.

Alvin Summons, Jr. 51 – Attempted Murder, Burglary 1st degree, Armed Robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, and Possession of weapon during a violent crime.

They are in custody at the Greenville Co. Detention Center.
