MCDOWELL CO., NC (WSPA) – Deputies have arrested two people in connection with the armed robbery of a store in McDowell County, Friday morning.

25-year-old Caitlin Danielle Reel of Marion and 30-year-old Christopher Joel Twitty of Marion are each charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.

According to the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office, the West Court Food Center #2 on US-221 South was robbed at gunpoint around 9:30am Friday.
