GREENVILLE CO., SC (WSPA) – Deputies are investigating after two churches were vandalized in Greenville County.

Vandals spray painted Satanic symbols and references to the Rev. Billy Graham just days after the evangelist died at his home.

The churches are Spring Life Community Church on Holland Road in Simpsonville and Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal in Piedmont.

Greenville County deputies say the vandalism happened sometime between 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.

As of Sunday evening, deputies say they no suspects or leads in either case.

Deputies are investigating 3 other church vandalisms since Jan. 27.

One was at Bessie Road Baptist Church and Joy Fellowship.

The other was Reedy Fork Baptist Church.

Sergeant Ryan Flood says there is a “high possibility” these incidents are connected.
