UNION, S.C. (WSPA) — Police are investigating two drive-by shootings in Union.
Police reports say the shootings happened Wednesday night at an apartment complex off Keenan Avenue and a house on Lawson Avenue.
A man told police a silver car with two males inside pulled into the parking lot around 8 p.m. Wednesday, turned off the car lights and shot at a man in the breezeway before leaving.
The witness said the person who was shot at yelled at the subjects in the vehicle that they missed and to come back, according to the report.
The subjects were last seen heading down Hicks Street towards Irwin Avenue.
Police found a car hit by a bullet.
While reviewing surveillance footage of that shooting, police were dispatched to a shots fired call at a house in the 200 block of Lawson Avenue.
About $500 worth of property damage was done to the home.
Dispatchers told officers that shots had been fired and that a silver vehicle was leaving the scene, according to a report.
Police responded and stopped a vehicle near the scene.
Two subjects were detained at the scene, according to the report.
