GREENWOOD COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – Two people were injured in a shooting Monday night in Greenwood County.

Sheriff Dennis Kelly said deputies were called to the 1200 block of West Alexander Road in reference to a shooting into a mobile home around 5:50 p.m.

Kelly said a small white vehicle pulled up to the front of residence before several men got out of the vehicle and fired rounds into the home.

Two males inside the mobile home were hit. One of those injured males was shot in the shoulder and he was treated at a nearby hospital and was released.

The other person was reportedly shot in the back.

As of Tuesday morning, he remains in critical but stable condition at a hospital.

Kelly said the shooting victims were driven to the hospital by someone else who was in the home.

According to Kelly, deputies found multiple cartridges in the road from a variety of calibers of gun.

The shooting remains under investigation at this time.
