GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – Police are looking for two people wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a GNC store in Greenville.

Officers were called to the GNC store on Verdae Boulevard around 2:10pm Sunday for a reported armed robbery.

An employee told Greenville Police that a man and woman came into the store to attempt to return merchandise which had been stolen during previous incident.

After the employee refused the return, he told investigators that he took the merchandise behind the counter and told the two he was calling police.

Police say the employee attempted to stop the woman who had gone behind the counter to get the merchandise when the man pulled out a gun.

The two left the scene before police arrived and nobody was hurt.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
