3 Asheville streets closed due to high water, city officials say

ASHEVILLE, NC (WSPA) – City of Asheville officials have confirmed that three area streets have been closed due to high water.

According to the city’s Twitter post, all of Azalea Road has been blocked off because of the rising water. The road is closed from US 70 to Swannanoa River Road.

Swannanoa River Road from Biltmore Avenue to South Tunnel Road is also closed at this thime.

Official said Thompson Street has also closed.
