GREENWOOD CO., SC (WSPA) – Deputies believe cases involving three separate Greenwood County houses struck by gunfire during the holidays are connected.
The three shootings happened on Christmas Eve and December 30.
On December 24, a home on the 900 block of Florida Avenue was hit by gunfire around 9:30pm.
On December 30, a house on the 700 block of Florida Avenue was struck by gunfire around 12:53am while another house on the 100 block of Oakview Court was hit by gunfire at 1:15am.
Deputies say the three homes were hit by what appears to be random gunfire and they have recovered bullets and casings from the scenes.
Investigators believe the shootings are gang-related.
