SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – Three people have been sentenced after they pleaded guilty to child pornography charges in the Upstate.

Michael G. Strother pleaded guilty on January 10 to first degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor in Greenville County.

In April 2017, investigators found Strother requesting child pornography on a file sharing network. When they searched his home, they found over 14,000 files containing child pornography or secret recordings of an adult female and a minor female that were recorded using hidden cameras.

According to the SC Attorney General’s Office, Strother admitted to the child pornography and to recording the two without their consent.

In July 2017, Bennett’s wife reported to Spartanburg County deputies that she found 578 printed images of child pornography in her husband’s vehicle.

Investigators also found 80 more images on child pornography on seized devices from the home.
