3 students arrested after threat at Broome High School


SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – Three juvenile students have been arrested on felony charges in connection to a threat made at Broome High School, according to Aly Myles with Spartanburg Dist. 3.

Myles said investigators were able identify and charge the students with Conveying False Information Regarding the Use of a Destructive Device less than six hours after the threat was made.

The school was evacuated Wednesday morning as investigators searched the school.

The students have been recommended for expulsion and trespassed on all Spartanburg Co. School District 3 properties by the Broome High School Administration.
