TRYON, N.C. (WSPA) – The Town of Tryon had a discharge of untreated wastewater on Saturday.
Officials say the incident happened near the intersection of Braewick Rd. and Melrose Avenue Ext., causing an overflow of approximately 3000 gallons.
The discharge lasted for approximately 30 minutes.
The untreated wastewater entered into an unknown tributary of Little Creek, city officials said in a press release.
