SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office officials said a third person has been arrested in a homicide, burglary and amed robbery investigation from back in December 2018.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, Jessica Frances Gregory of Spartanburg, was arrested and charged with murder, three counts of armed robbery and three counts of first-degree burglary.
We reported earlier that Alberto Morales Flores, 23, of Una, was shot in the head and killed on Seminole Drive on Dec. 1, 2018.
Flores died from a gunshot wound to the head and the manner of his death was ruled a homicide.
Sheriff’s Office officials said two men flagged down a deputy at the sheriff’s office on Saturday night and told him someone had been hurt at a home on Seminole Drive.
Deputies then followed the men back to the home where they found a man, Flores, shot in the head.
Two other suspects in the case, Rico Nichols of Spartanburg, and Jeffery Simpson of Landrum, were arrested just after the incident, but Gregory reportedly went to Jacksonville, Fla.
Gregory was found in Jacksonville several weeks ago, and was extradited back to the area over the weekend.
Nichols and Simpson are both charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, three counts of armed robbery and three counts of first-degree burglary.
