GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – Greenville County Sheriff’s Office investigators have charged 4 people in connection to a shooting that happened on Crestwood Forest Drive on Jan. 14.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, Keyla Conyetta Mansell, 24, Kirk Porter, Jr., 23, Raymond Martinez, Jr., 26, were arrested and each were charged with attempted murder, as well as other charges in the shooting investigation.
On Thursday, sheriff’s office officials said they arrested Candice Latrese Holsey, 29, for possessing stolen goods.
An investigation revealed that the suspects had arranged the purchase of a cellphone on the app, “OfferUp.”
According to the release, the victim was intending to sell the phone and had two small children with him when he met the suspects at the location on Crestwood Forest Drive, in front of Building 11.
When the victim arrived in the parking lot, Porter reportedly approached the man, grabbed the phone and shot him several times.
The suspects then left the scene.
According to the release, Holsey was later found to have taken possession of the phone that was stolen during the robbery.
Mansell, Porter, Jr., and Martinez, Jr., remain in the Greenville County Detention Center without bond.
Holsey was reelased on a $2,100 bond.
