HAYWOOD COUNTY, NC (WSPA) – Haywood County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested four men Thursday on charges related to trafficking heroin and cocaine.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, a high volume of traffic stops Thursday in the area of Dellwood Road in Waynesville led deputies to a location in the 2700 block of Dellwood Road, also known as the Olive View apartments/motel.
After search warrants were obtained, deputies arrested four men — Desjaun Montre Clawson, 27, of Salisbury, NC, Demarcus Jeremale Wiggins, 38, of Woodleaf, NC, Craig Allen Hambrick, 38, of Franklin, NC, and Omar Sire Jackson, 35, of Salisbury, NC — around 7 p.m. and more than 60 grams of heroin, as well as more than 65 grams of cocaine.
Clawson was charged with felony trafficking heroin, cocaine, conspire to sell/deliver heroin. He was being held on $40,000 bond.
Wiggins was charged with felony trafficking heroin, cocaine, conspire to sell/deliver heroin. He was being held on $60,000 bond.
Hambrick was charged with felony trafficking heroin, cocaine, conspire to sell/deliver heroin. He was being held on $40,000 bond, but has since been released.
Jackson was charged with felony trafficking heroin, cocaine, conspire to sell/deliver heroin. He was being held on $40,000 bond.
