Anderson County Deputies have arrested 9 people in two separate drug raids in the county.
The Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed warrants on a house on River Street in Belton on Wednesday and a house on Flowe Road in Anderson on Thursday.
In Belton, three people were arrested: 36-year-old Javiaro Eugene Dixon, 26-year-old Daniella Lawrence, and 30-year-old Eric Bruce Richey. Richey was taken to Abbeville County based on outstanding warrants.
In Anderson, six people were arrested after deputies say they ran from the house but were caught after a short foot chase: 46-year-old Darrell Dewayne Mattison, 44-year-old Rufus Fransiscus Burns, 35-year-old Julian Montez Hunter, 34-year-old James Bernard Hunter, 27-year-old Corshaun Midrikus Martin, and 36-year-old Kelvin Rondricus Hall.
Deputies seized 23 grams of crack cocaine, 11 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of marijuana, and a gun from the Flowe Road house and seized a small quantity of pills, marijuana, and a gun from the River Street house.
