The Greenville Chapter of ABATE has been riding the roads of the Upstate on motorcycles and collecting toys for 33 years.

This year is no different and they’re asking for your help to provide Christmas presents for children that come in contact with the Julie Valentine Center.

There are several Greenville location where you can drop off donations, including At the Depot,
Just one more Sports Bar and Grill, Greenville Shrine Club and Stone Plaza Pharmacy.

The group also encourages you to ride with them and bring the toy to deliver yourself.

Organizer Melody Rahall said the group prides themselves on doing whatever they can to show children love and kindness,

The Julie Valentine Center use the toys to comfort children who have been abused.

Organizers said the toy run line up begins at noon Dec. 2 at the Greenville Shrine Club and the parade leaves at 2 p.m.

Rahall said they’re escorted by the Greenville County Sheriffs Office and lead by Parker Fire District.

Riders ask that you bring a toy for a child anywhere from the age of an infant to teenager, including books, purses and baby items.

The ride ends at County Square.
