SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – The Spartanburg Humane Society is asking for your help after two huge air condition units went out.

They say the units may have been hit by lightning and will cost $22,000 – $25,000 to fix.

They don’t have that kind of money to fix or get new ones.

They say no animals have died or developed any illnesses because of the heat.

They are making adjustments to keep the animals cool, such as bringing in fans and limiting outside time.

The Humane Society is doing fundraisers on social media and donors have been helping them out.

If you want to donate, you can go to their website here.
