All inclusive pet resort with swimming pool opens in Greenville

An all-inclusive pet resort opened in Greenville Thursday. Called Pet Paradise, the resort has over 100 rooms for dog and cats, along with a large outdoor dog park, misting stations, a splash pad and a swimming pool.

β€œWe really want it to be a place where you can bring your pet, whether its for day camp, boarding, our overnight service, grooming, and also veterinary services so you really have one place that your pet can have a great time exercise and also be taken care of as well,” says Lisa Tarr, VP of Marketing and Communications.

Overnight dog suites have indoor/outdoor access with dog doors, but dogs can upgrade to VIP suites complete with a TV, two dog beds, 24/7 a webcam that allows owners to check in on them, extra play time, ice cream and a β€œgo-home” bath.

There are also 6-story “cat condos” and an upgrade option for small dogs under 30 pounds called “Tiny Town” that allows pets easy access to a playpen and their individual beds.

There are no breed restrictions and even dogs who are not compatible with others are allowed, but the only inadmissible animals are those who are human aggressive.

β€œEvery new guest everybody gets an assessment when they come in,” Tarr says. β€œWe actually have a personality profile on every guest, so we really get to know you as a pet parent and the guest to really make sure they have a personalized experience here.”

Pet Paradise offers a free day of camp to first time guests so pet owners can decide if it’s right for them.

It’s located at 615 Congaree Road in Greenville. For more information, click here.
