(WSPA) – Allegiant Air officials issued a travel alert on social media on Thursday, warning of some scheduled service disruptions starting Wednesday throughout the remainder of the week due to Hurricane Florence.
According to an Allegiant Air Twitter post, the service disruptions will impact travel to and from the following cities Wednesday through Sunday:
- Asheville, NC (AVL)
- Charleston, SC (CHS)
- Concord, NC (USA)
- Greensboro, NC (GSO)
- Greenville, SC (GSP)
- Myrtle Beach, SC (MYR)
- Norfolk, VA (ORF)
- Richmond, VA (RIC)
- Roanoke, VA (ROA)
- Savannah, GA (SAV)

Allegiant Air officials said passengers with reservations to and/or from any of the cities impacted will be able to request a one-time change to their travel plans without incurring change/cancel fees.
Those needing to change their travel plans can call Allegiant Customer Care at 702-505-8888. Allegiant’s Facebook and Twitter platforms will also be available for direct messaging.
Those wishing to change their flight must make a change within 14 days from the weather advisory for travel on any future open date to any city in the Allegiant network.
