Anderson Co. mother charged in daughter’s death posts bond

ANDERSON COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – An Anderson County mother accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter is free on bond.

Laura Griffin posted a $50,000 bond to get out of the Anderson County Detention Center.

Griffin was charged with homicide by child abuse after her daughter, Evie, suffered a traumatic brain injury and died back in April.

According to the arrest warrant, Griffin was the only adult present when the child suffered blunt force trauma.
