Anderson County deputy involved in crash


ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A deputy was involved in a crash in Anderson County Monday evening.

The crash happened at about 10 a.m. on Michelin Boulevard near Masters Boulevard, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said the deputy was responding to a non-emergent call for service when their patrol vehicle hydroplaned and overturned.

The deputy was transported to the hospital to be checked out. Their injuries were not life threatening, according to the sheriff’s office.

No one else was involved in the crash.
