GLYNN CO., GA (WSPA) – The body of an Anderson man was found in a burning car in Glynn County, according to police.
It happened around 2:13 a.m. Monday morning in the 5400 block of Highway 17 North.
Officers say a 1994 Cadillac Deville with SC tags was engulfed in flames on the side of the road.
After the fire was put out, they found the body of Matthew Lee Johnson, 39, inside.
They are still investigating.
The coroner said an autopsy for Johnson is scheduled Tuesday.
