Anderson shootings: Police give updates after night of violence


(WSPA)— Anderson Police release reports Friday on all three shooting from overnight, Wednesday.

The first shooting was on Montague Street around 11:30 p.m., Wednesday night.

Officer say they found a lot of blood on scene and two of the three people who had been shot were in a bedroom.

One of the victims listed on the incident reports didn’t live at the home. It descried a 13-year-old, who was shot, as having severe injuries.

The second shooting was about an hour later on Gamewell Court.

Police say they found a victim there lying in the middle of a hallway, shot in the foot.

She told investigators she was sleeping and woke up to the noise from the shooting. She didn’t live at the home where the shooting happened.

The third shooting of the night was around 3 a.m. Thursday on Hudgens Street.

The 2 victims here did not live at the home.

Police found one man on the floor, shot in the leg.

Police don’t have information on suspects in any of the shootings.

They’re asking anyone with information to come forward.
