CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WSPA) – An Asheville man was sentenced to 28 years for making child porn, according to a release from the office of US Attorney Andrew Murray.

Gabriel Allen Goss, 39, will also have to register as a sex offender and will have a life time of supervised release when he gets out.

On March 18, 2017 Goss was living in Haywood Co. and used a phone to make at least three child porn videos of a  prepubescent girl, according to documents.

Court records show that on November 16, 2017, Goss emailed another person for the purpose of trading child pornography files. In one email, Goss attached a video file of the child pornography Goss had made with the victim.

Goss is currently in federal custody and will be transferred to federal prison, according to the report.

Federal sentences are served without the possibility of parole.
