Balloon release held at Ware Shoals H.S. for teen killed in crash

GREENWOOD COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – An Upstate high school student, who was killed in a crash on prom night, was honored on Friday.

Trinity Harrison, 18, died after the truck she was in was hit Saturday night on Highway 25 in southern Greenville County.

On Friday afternoon, Ware Shoals High School, where Harrison attended school, held a balloon release in her memory.

A suspected drunk driver, Carter Owen, was arrested in the crash.

Funeral services are set for Saturday at 3 p.m. at Little River Multicultural Center in Hodges.
