GREER, S.C. (WSPA) – The BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by Synnex Corperation announced the celebrity lineup for this year’s tournament in June.
The tournament is played at Thornblade Golf Club and The Cliffs Valley.
Celebrities participating in the event this year include Superbowl Champion and former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Brett Farve, Actor Anthony Anderson, Actor Brian Baumgartner, MLB Allstar Josh Beckett, Actor Lucas Black, Comedian Larry the Cable Guy, ESPN Anchor Michael Collins, Actress Debbe Dunning, Miss America 2015 Kira Kazanstev, NFL player Patrick Peterson, Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty, Former MLB player Ivan Rodriguez, Shep Rose of Southern Charm, Former MLB player Ozzie Smith, former NFL player Josh Scobee, former MLB player Fred McGriff.
BMW said the positive impact to the Upstate community can be seen in the more than 40 thousand people that come out to watch.
Tournament representatives said this year, the tournament will top $13 million money donated to charity.
Four charities benefit including Spartanburg Mobile Meals, Prisma Health Children’s Hospital, Roper Mountain Science Center and Cliffs Resident Outreach, enabling Upstate children to focus on literacy, food and mentoring.
