News

CLEMSON, SC (WSPA)— The City of Clemson advises the residents of Hillcrest Avenue, Addison Lane, and North Clemson Avenue to vigorously boil their water for at least one minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by the City of Clemson.

Also, any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes, officials say.

This advisory is being issued as a precaution only due to low water pressure cuased by a water line tie-in on Old Greenville Highway.

If you have any questions about the advisory, please call the City of Clemson Utilities Department at 864.653.2046 or the Police Department at 864.624.2000 after normal business hours.

Officials say water sample testing results should be completed around 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 and posted to the City of Clemson web site.
