MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) – Both lanes of Interstate 40 were shut down due to a crash at mile marker 73 westbound in Old Fort.
The McDowell County Emergency Management said the accident involved a tractor and trailer.
Around 1:45 p.m., first responders said the accident had been cleared.
