SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – Campobello police said one suspect was shot and two others arrested after a break-in.

It happened Monday night at a home on Pine Street.

Campobello Police Chief Chad McNeill said a homeowner arrived home to find three suspects in the back of the residence.

McNeill said shots were fired and the homeowner hit one suspect. He was shot in the leg.

That suspect was taken to Spartanburg Medical Center for surgery.

Chief McNeill said police arrested the other two suspects at the scene.

The suspects are identified as Carolynn Michelle Crocker, 37, of Boiling Springs and Amanda Gail Tuck, 39, of Chesnee.

Chief McNeill said both women are charged with first-degree burglary.

They remain in the Spartanburg County jail as of Tuesday.

Chief McNeill said the third suspect, Wes Anderson, will be booked in jail after he’s released from the hospital.

He said the homeowner is fine but upset.

Jennifer Furman owns Flip My Fur Pet Spa. She says her dog grooming service is next door to the burglarized home. Despite the break in, she thinks it’s a safe community.

“We feel very safe here. I’ve lived in the community for 13 years, raised kids here, and even in light of this still don’t feel threatened, I think it was a specific target,” Furman said.

Chief McNeill said the woman’s property was burglarized a couple weeks ago and apparently the same suspects returned on Monday night.

All three suspects will face a charge of first-degree burglary and could face more charges.

While the two women are behind bars, Anderson is in the hospital and will join them at the detention center once he’s released from the hospital.
