Firefighters said two people were hurt after a vehicle crashed into the side of an apartment building in Mauldin, Saturday night.

According to the Mauldin Fire Department, the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. when a vehicle hit a building at Arbors at Brookfield apartment complex on East Butler Road.

Two people in the vehicle were taken to the hospital with injuries. Their condition is not known at this time.

Firefighters say the vehicle damaged portions of the stairwell and breezeway of the building.
