Car shot at Spartanburg red light says report

(WSPA) — A man told police his car was hit by bullets at a Spartanburg intersection.

It happened early Saturday morning while he was stopped at the light on John B. White Sr. Boulevard and Daniel Morgan Avenue.

The victim heard several shots before speeding away from the intersection, according to a police report.

The shooting was reported to police on Sunday.

Police found three shots near a wheel of the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro.

There were also shots below the passenger side door, near the gas tank and a broken tail light.

It appeared the shots were fired from behind the car.

The victim said he did not know where the shots were fired from.
