CareerBuilder is out with this year’s most bizarre excuses for being late to work

We all run late to work from time to time, but a new study shows just how many people are willing to lie about it.

One in ten workers admit to being late, at least once a week, according to CareerBuilder.com, and some are getting creative with their excuses.

One boss says an employee claimed they had to wait for their coffee to cool. Another employee said, “I had morning sickness.” The problem?  It was a man.

Traffic is the number one actual reason why people were late, followed by oversleeping and bad weather.
