Cherokee County School District students create program to promote healthy living

News

A group of students and community members have decided to team up to make Cherokee County a healthier place.

Fit2gether project leader Christina Cody describes the program as a partnership between Workout Anytime Gaffney and Fit2getherCCSD with Cherokee County school district students and teachers.

Anytime Gaffney offers Styku body composition analysis, a 3D body scanning process that shows exact measurements, shape, body composition, and health risks assessments.

A 3D camera scans your body and tells you your body fat percentage body measurements and research-based risk assessments for diseases such as cancer, respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease and other weight associated diseases.

The Cherokee County School Districtโ€™s wellness initiative, fit2getherfocuses on student and employee wellness is hosting a resolution solution weight-loss and body fat loss competition to help support employees in creating healthy habits.

The competition runs from January 14th to March 29th.

Those employees participating in the body fat loss competition will receive two free Styku scans at Workout Anytime Gaffney.
