GREER, S.C. (WSPA) — Greer Community Ministries is holding a classic car show to benefit the organization’s clothing closet, food pantry, senior dining program and Meals on Wheels program.

The car show is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4.

Organizers welcome classic cars, but your vehicle doesn’t have to be an older model.

Krista Gibson with Greer Community Ministries (GCM) said pre-registration is not necessary.

Trucks that will be present at the event include the Chuck Truck, Henry’s Hog Hawler, Sno Hut and Shells on Wheels.

The family-friendly event will feature a kids’ play area with an inflatable obstacle course.

School supplies will also be collected at the event to benefit local students.

Organizers ask participants who want to register their car to bring $20.
