Clemson Univ. building evacuated, now all clear

CLEMSON, SC (WSPA) – The Dillard building on Clemson’s main campus was evacuated for a potential Hazmat situation Tuesday morning, according to Clemson Police.

Clemson has now said things are all clear and people can return to normal activity.

Clemson officials told us that print and mail services are located in that building, and that a mail sorter found what was thought to be a suspicious package.

After the fire department and hazmat crews arrived on-scene, they inspected the package and ruled it to be safe.
