LAURENS Co., SC (WSPA) — A teen is accused of threatening a school shooting in a social media post.

Laurens County Sheriff Don Reynolds said in a news release that deputies responded to a fight between siblings at a home in Clinton on Wednesday.

Reynolds said 17-year-old Damon Keith Kempster ran on foot after deputies arrived there.

Investigators say Kempster stated in a post on social media that he was going to shoot a school.

Kempster didn’t name the specific school.

Sheriff Reynolds said Kempster was arrested after returning home and charged with aggravated breach of peace.
