Republican Greenville County Sheriff hopeful Will Lewis announced the list of community leaders he says are endorsing him in the upcoming runoff against Sheriff Steve Loftis.
Thursday, Will Lewis announced the 19 elected officials and business owners who he says are behind him in this election (full list below).
Despite the mudslinging between Lewis and Loftis earlier this week, Lewis only mentioned the positive changes he’d like to make within the county.
He addressed two of the community’s top concerns, those being shorter response times and body cameras, of which he says are priorities should he become the next Sheriff.
He says he’s humbled and grateful for everyone behind him in the upcoming runoff election next week.
“To know that the strong men and women who stand with me as community leaders, as elected officials, as business owners of this community, see the same vision as I do and see the need for change.”
