‘Company cat’ catnapped from Spartanburg business

SPARTANBURG, SC (WSPA) – A “company cat” was stolen from a business in Spartanburg, according to a police report.

Police say they responded to a report of a stolen kitten at Champion Investment Corp. on E. Main St.

The complainant said someone had stolen their pet kitten sometime between the afternoon 10/28 and 10/29. 

The kitten was described as approximately 10 weeks old and about 2 pounds with black hair sprinkled with white splashes.

They said the kitten wandered on to the property and had since became the “company cat.”

The culprit also stole two stainless steel feeding bowls and a brown wicker cat bed with red plaid bedding.

Both the items were outside.
