MOORE, SC (WSPA) – Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating the burglary of a church construction site in Moore.

According to a sheriff’s office report, the new construction site of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church — also known as The Mill — was burglarized on Wednesday night.

An employee for Eagle Interiors, Inc. spoke with deputies and said two of his airless spray pumps had been taken from the site.

Deputies said plastic that was covering the entrance to the building had been cut and appeared to be where the suspect, or suspects, made entry.

The pumps were reportedly left in an open closet in a room in the building. According to the employee, the pumps were secured to a tool box by a cable and a padlock in the back corner of the closet.

Deputies said the cable had been cut.

The two pumps — belonging to Eagle Interiors — were described as:

  • Blue Graco Airless Spray Pump (Model: 495 Highboy)
  • Blue Graco Airless Spray Pump (Model: GH 230)

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 864-503-4500.
