Asheville armed robberies may be connected say police

ASHEVILLE, NC (WSPA) - Asheville Police are asking for your help in solving two armed robberies they think are connected.

The first happened at the Sunoco on Patton Ave. on May 13 around 9:37 a.m.

The suspect in the dark colored shirt and hat showed a gun in the robbery.

No one was hurt.

In a second robbery a man in a white jacket robbed the Montford Coroner Store on Montford Ave.

That happened on May 13 around 10 p.m.

Police say the suspect showed a gun, but no one was hurt.
